About the Belton Police Foundation

Our Purpose

To bring together graduates of the Belton Citizen’s Police Academy who will work to develop, promote, and improve a partnership between the police department and the community; to provide education in law enforcement issues, crime prevention, and public safety; to support and assist the Belton Police Department however requested.

The Belton Police Department, located in Belton, Texas is a law enforcement agency that has been granted specific police powers in Bell County. The primary function of the Police Department is deterring crime, stopping crimes in progress, investigating crimes, and serving as first responders for emergencies and situations that threaten public safety.

One of the greatest assets to the Belton Police Department is the outstanding group of volunteers who make up the Belton Police Foundation. They assist us in providing excellence in police services to our community. The generosity of the time given by these volunteers to support BPD community outreach events and the generous financial contributions by them and our community partners help make it possible for us to maintain Belton’s great quality of life. Your support of the Belton Police Foundation provides resources to purchase equipment, resources, and support programs beyond the capacity of the BPD budget. Furthermore, the Foundation provides vital benevolence support to members of the Belton Police Department in times of need. I sincerely appreciate the generosity of all of those who support the Belton Police Foundation with their time, talents, and finances.
